Patrick Henry's Scotchtown

Scotchtown is the home of Patrick Henry, Orator of the American Revolution. He, his wife Sarah and their children lived here from 1771–1778. 

 

During his residency here, he rode to St. John's Church in Richmond to deliver his famous "Liberty Or Death" speech. And where he would be elected the first Governor of Virginia.
